Sorry you haven't heard from me in a long time...just been busy graduating and trying to get a job in the video game world (all in the journal) But enough of all that, to your artwork!
Wow...I love the coloring on this! It looks absolutely amazing!!! I'm just now trying to get good at using a tablet and digital painting.
Thank you so much my friend! I am already noticing how hard it can be to break into the video game industry And I'm trying to practice as much as I possibley can...well, as long as my hand will permit me until it gives out Any helpful tips you can give me when it comes to tablets or digital painting? Thank you!
As for digital painting in general... do it as much as you can, read tutorials and see how other people do it then apply that to your own method, keep working on drawing different things the old fashioned way because it definitely helps, take advantage of the things you can do only in digital painting like using different brushes, different filters and all other kinds of things that people will suggest you use in tutorials, and probably more stuff that I can't think of...
I'll check out whatever digital work you do and critique at some point just keep working
Meh....I just started. I've done like two things...my recent Bugz comic/wallpaper, and the Hard Boiled Egg Sketches thing. Thats it...so I'm seriously a beginer...all the while learning how to use the tablet.
Thank you for the advice though bro...any tutorials you would suggest online?
there are tutorials all over the place you can check out but nothing I can really think of off of the top of my head... but if I come across a good one I\'ll make sure to tell you about it. For now I\'d suggest taking a look around DA, you\'re bound to find something
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
